Mrs. Abimbola (Bola) Kofoworola Gadri-Nicholson, 60, of Clinton, PA passed away peacefully on December 2nd, 2021. She was born on September 18th, 1961 in Lagos, Nigeria. Bola graduated from the New Era Girls Secondary School of Lagos, Nigeria, and the Freetown Secondary School for Girls (FSSG) in Sierra Leone. Bola achieved many higher learning credentials including her Masters of Business Administration with an emphasis in Technology Management.
Bola married her loving husband Willie Nicholson in 1982. They met in Sierra Leone when Bola attend the FFSG. She is survived by her children Yemi and Yawah Nicholson, daughter-in-law Dr. Brianna Nicholson, her grandchildren Isaiah and Ian, Sister Mrs. Seun Mukan, Brother Capt. Seni Ramos and several nephews and nieces.
Bola built a great professional career. She worked for several medical companies which include, Bayer Diagnostics, Thermo, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Siemens Healthineer. Bola was a true professional.
Family was a top priority throughout Bola’s life, showering her family with love and affection. Bola enjoyed every moment she spent with her classmates in the New Era Secondary School Alumnae group doing service and going on yearly trips. Committed in life to the tenets of Christianity she served as an active member of the Sewickley United Methodist church taking pride in Heritage Sunday events and leading Sunday school classes with her husband.
Bola will be remembered for her smile, endless generosity, love for her friends and family, and her impeccable memory beating everyone in Jeopardy! Nightly.
A memorial service will be held at the Sewickley United Methodist Church, 337 Broad Street Sewickley, PA 15143 on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at 11 am with streaming available.
