Barbara Winter Smith

Age 76, a long-time resident of Sewickley, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2021.  She was born on July 21, 1945 to the late Eric and Olga Witner Barbara was a 1963 graduate of Aliquippa High School and then studied at Robert Morris College, where she earned an Associate degree in accounting.  Barbara started her career at J&L Steel, where she met her husband Frank.  She retired in 2016 from Sewickley Academy after spending 25 years in the Accounts Payable Department.

Preceded in death by her parents and her sister Sandi (Walker).  Barbara is survived by Frank, her loving husband of 53 years, daughter Nicole Page (Ed), son Brandon Smith (Carol Voll), and granddaughters Madi and Lily.  Barbara loved nothing more than being surrounded by family and showering them with affection and gifts given from the heart.

Friends will be received at the Richard D.Cole Funeral Home, Inc. 328 Beaver Street Sewickley, PA 15143 on Friday, October 29th from 5-8pm.
