On Sunday May 23, 2021, Barry Robert Yant, 61, of Ambridge, Pa. passed awayat his residence after a long illness. Son of Dana Blume Yant and the late Robert Yant. Husband of Karen Schmiedlin Yant. Father of Kim Schultise of Ambridge, David Schultise of California and Amanda Yant (Tyler) Max of Economy Boro. Brother of LouAnn (Shawn) Scott,, Carolyn (John) Pegher, Dawn (Jr,) Cannister, and Kenny Dale (Rosa) Yant.. Brother-in-Law of Beverly (Jim) Danner and Joyce (Jim) Trapp. Also survived by many nieces and nephews & great nephews and nieces. Barry was an avid motorcycle rider, golfer, hunter, fisherman and gardener.Friends will be received in The Richard D. Cole Funeral Home, Inc. 328 Beaver Street Sewickley, Pa. 15143 on Thursday May 27, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM, Funeral services will be held in Sewickley United Methodist Church Broad Street Sewickley on Friday at 10 AM.
