Bruce Heath Nagle, 74, of Moon Township, PA, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2023. Bruce is survived by his wife Virginia, his son, Christopher, and sister, Claire Brennan (William). Born and raised in Brookline, he was preceded in deathby his parents Charles H. and Josephine R. Nagle.
Bruce is a 1966 graduate of South Catholic High School, and a 1970 graduate of Columbia University. A passionate student-athlete throughout his entire academic career, he was a team leader on the South Catholic basketball and football teams, and Columbia football and track and field teams. His passion for sports was life-long, including in his retirement where he worked for Heinz Field and PNC Park, and officiated multiple high school sports.
Prior to his retirement, Bruce enjoyed a 40-year career as a Human Resources and Labor Relations executive in the manufacturing, banking and health care industries.
A big, warm personality, Bruce had a generosity of spirit and true joy of living that were contagious. He leaves behind a large and loving extended family and community of life-long friends.
Visitation will be held at The Richard D. Cole Funeral Home, Inc., 328 Beaver Street, Sewickley, PA 15143, on Thursday April 27th from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and then again from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 28th. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 28th at 11:00 a.m. in St. Stephen’s Church, Sewickley, PA.
