Grace (Bouie) Cottom

Grace Cottom (Bouie), of Sewickley, PA, 79 years old, passed away on March 4, 2022.  
She is preceded in death by her Father Calvin J Bouie; Calvin Washington Sr. (Stepfather); Mother Haudie Mae Washington; Twin Brother Grady Bouie; Sister Sara Parker; and Grand Daughter Robyn Brown.  Grace is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Harold Jr.: brothers Walter Bouie; Calvin Washington; sister, Claudette Mbah; sisters-in-love, Geraldine Law; Jackie Harden; Evelyn Bouie; Edna Mae Jones (Artie).  

Children, Sherry L. Brown; Dr. Harold Cottom III (Marina); Andrea Grace Anderson (Melvin); Stephen J. Cottom (Lisa); along with 14 grandchildren Keisha (daughter), Analesa Grace, Ashley (Freeman), Andrea Grace, LaToya Grace, Melchizedek, Micah, Stephen Jr., Amarea, Clay, Elijah, Johnae, Alexis Grace,Tynel.

 24 greatgrandchildren; D’Amante(son), Da’Mahj, CaliuaGrace, Lamont, Destyni, Dennis, Anya, Shaun, Da’ Neko, Monarae Grace, Alaya, Da’Kari, Olivia, Cameron, Abrielle, Clay Jr, Nash, Aaron, Kinslee, Kiylee, Freeman IV, Ava, Aayden, Cole, and (1) great greatgrandchild; De Amani. Adopted Daughters; Marpessa Adams and Crystal Richard, Terrica Hendon, Deborah Cottom and a host of Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and friends.  

Grace's compassion for people began as an LPN at Sewickley Valley Hospital. She will be remembered as a Teacher for Hardy Bible School, where she taught for several years. Along with caring deeply for everyone, she encountered, she walked in the fulfillment and essence of her name.

Zion Church, 345 Thorn St. Sewickley PA 15143. A Wake will be held from 10:00-12:00 and a Celebration of Life will begin at 12:00 Noon. Officiant for Service is the Pastor William Rankin and Eulogy by Dr. Harold Cottom III. Funeral Service will be conducted by the Richard D. Cole Funeral Home, Inc. 328 Beaver St. Sewickley, PA 15143.
