Raised in Leetsdale, Pennsylvania, alongside her siblings, Laura graduated from Quaker Valley Senior High School in 1973, where she proudly served as the school's morning announcer for several years. In 1974, she relocated to Syracuse, New York, with her brother Steven, where she worked for Nationwide Insurance and met Daniel Lee Golden. She returned to Leetsdale in 1976, later moving to Sewickley in 1988, then Moon Township, and finally to Imperial, Pennsylvania, where she resided at the time of her passing. She worked for Mutual of Omaha at the former Pittsburgh International Airport for six years before beginning a 30-year tenure at FedEx in February 1989. She retired in June 2019 as a senior account representative. A woman of deep faith, Laura attended St. Matthews AME Zion Church in Sewickley for many years before becoming a member of The Table Church in Oakdale, Pennsylvania, where she remained active until her passing. Laura touched countless lives with her warmth and kindness, cherishing her many wonderful friendships. She loved her grandchildren dearly and treasured family beach vacations. Strong in her faith, she walked daily with Jesus, inspiring those around her with her kind and loving spirit. We are forever blessed to have had her in our lives and will miss her profoundly.
