Lawrence E. Ottaviano

Lawrence E. Ottaviano, age 81, of Sewickley and formerly Mount Washington and Dormont, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 29, 2020. He was the loving husband of the late Beatrice Ottaviano and father to the late Larry M. Ottaviano. He is survived by son Kenneth Ottaviano, husband of Sandy;daughter JoAnn Guy, wife of Tony; and Kathy Ottaviano, wife of Larry. He was also the proud grandfather of eight grandchildren: Adam, Michael, Abigail, Anthony, Madison, Casey, Lauren, and Emily. Also survived by his younger brother Robert and Marla Ottaviano of Sanoma California. He is also the former husband of Patricia Myers Ottaviano. 

Throughout his career, Larry served many years as a deputy constable and Dormont Volunteer fireman, serving several years as the Dormont Fire Chief. He also served in the US Navy, making many trips across the Atlantic Ocean on the U.S.S Butner. Larry spent 20 years as an Alleghany County fireman at the Pittsburgh International Airport and is a lifetime member of the V.F.W. #694. Larry was an avid high school football fan, supporting the Seton La Salle Rebels and the Pittsburgh Central Catholic Vikings. Larry will be laid to rest at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in a private family setting on November 2, 2020. Arrangements entrusted to Richard D. Cole Funeral Home, Inc. Sewickley.
