Mark Joseph Liggett, 55, of Edgeworth, PA, died Saturday, June 19th, 2021. Born on June 15th, 1966, Mark was the youngest son of the late Joseph G. Liggett and Nancy (Sutter) Liggett of Churchill. He was the much loved brother of Susan (Liggett) Fox, of Leetsdale, and the late Scott P. Liggett of Hilton Head, SC., Brother-in-law of Hans Fuchs and LouAnn (Oakley) Liggett. Mark was a wonderful uncle to Nathaniel Fox, Miriam Fox, Parker Liggett, and Mallory Liggett.
     He was a graduate of Penn State University and earned an International MBA from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.
     Mark was a Senior Manager in Advisory Services for Crowe, LLP., where he managed engagements with many notable companies. A tireless worker, Mark was known for his dedication and availability to his clients and colleagues alike. His attention to detail and knack for problem solving were hallmarks of his success.
     An avid golfer, Mark maintained PGA Pro status for the past 27 years. He was Assistant Golf Pro at Bloody Point Golf Club on Daufuskie Island, SC before he began his consulting career. He earned a Master Boat Captain’s license during that time as well. A long time resident of Charleston, SC, he returned to the Pittsburgh area in 2016 and had a special fondness for his Edgeworth neighbors. Mark’s interests included travel, salt water fishing, skeet, sporting clays, NFL Football, and gardening.
     Above all, Mark relished his family ties and longtime friendships. He enjoyed sharing family traditions and recalling in great detail the times he spent with loved ones. Mark appreciated the many blessings and opportunities that came his way in life and he was a great blessing to those who knew and loved him as well. He will be greatly missed.
     A Memorial Service for Mark will be held at Sewickley Presbyterian Church on Saturday, July 31 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mark’s memory may be made to the Phipps Conservatory, www.phipps.conservatory.org or to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
