Marlene B. (Brothers) Clements, affectionately known as "Mimi" by her grandchildren, transitioned from earth to glory on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. Marlene was born in California, PA on January 30, 1936, to the late William Vincent Brothers and Janie (Johnson) Brothers. Marlene was employed at ARMCO Steel for 12 years until 1985 when she relocated to Maryland and was employed by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). This was commonly referred to as Metro, a tri-jurisdictional public transit agency that operates transit services in the Washington metropolitan area.
Marlene was preceded in death by her son, Leo W. Clements, Jr. and her sister, Carol L. Brothers. She leaves behind her loving and devoted children, Charmayne D. (Samuel) Smith, Mark D. Clements, Darnette M. Harrison, and Moray C. Clements. She is also survived by her sisters, Barbara J. Cameron, Janifer B. (Richard F.) Sims, and a host of family and friends.
The family of the beloved Marlene B. Clements acknowledges all acts of kindness during their period of bereavement.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until time of Home Going Service at 11 a.m. in West Hills Baptist Church, 259 Shafer Rd., Coraopolis, PA 15108. Burial will be held privately. Arrangements are entrusted to RICHARD D. COLE FUNERAL HOME, LTD., 328 Beaver St., Sewickley, PA 15143.
