Michael Pivar Obituary

Michael P. Pivar, 83 years old, of Sewickley Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, Feb. 11, 2022 after a valiant fight with cancer.

Born December 5, 1938, in Rochester, Pennsylvania to parents Samuel and Mary (Honey) Pivar. Michael grew up in Freedom, Pennsylvania.

He is survived by his wife, Lani and son Michael Jr. of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and his sister, Paula Marsenison of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and a large and loyal circle of friends.

Michael served his country in the Army and afterwards had a long, successful career in medical sales.

As per Michael’s wishes, a private memorial service and a celebration of Michael’s life will be held in the spring, with a private interment at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

Online condolences can be left at Richard D. Cole Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to his favorite charity, Wounded Warrior Project.
