Patricia B. (Baney) Rudy, of Sewickley, passed away at the age of 86, on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Concordia of Franklin Park. Born in Phillipsburg, Pennsylvania on August 16, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Eber and Dorothy (Geist) Baney. Patricia was the loving wife to the late Carl F. Rudy for 58 years. Beloved mother of Frederick (Linda) Rudy, Susan (David) Allison, Judith (Robin) Hetzell. and Janet (Michael) Pratt. Sister of Douglas (Cheryl) Baney, of State College, PA, and Carol (Donald) Peters, of Mackeyville, PA. She is survived by and will be sadly missed by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Patricia was a member of the Sewickley United Methodist Church. She was known for always being in the kitchen. Patricia was a lifetime member of Mt. Nebo Grange where she served as a State Chaplin. She was a Sunday school teacher and 4-H leader helping to teach youth in the area. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Edgeworth Club, 511 East Dr., Sewickley, PA 15143, at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 26th with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made to the Ohio Township Volunteer Fire Department. Arrangements are entrusted to RICHARD D.
