Marilyn was born in Sewickley to Marcel and Dorothy Hegert. She grew up in

Her passion in Ministry was social justice, working to insure that all are treated

who shared her deep and abiding love for Jesus Christ.  "Be Light where there is
darkness. Share the hope of God's immeasurable love."
Marilyn retired four times--being called back to Ministry three times. Her fourth and
last retirement was in 2018, when she and Mary packed up their Anoka home and moved to Sewickley.
Marilyn and Mary enjoyed traveling--especially to London and  historic sites all over the US. She continued to teach classes at her new hometown church, and now had time to read books for pleasure. She loved planning gardens and planning home
restorations.
