Obituary
Shirley Sue Stevens 82, formerly of Sewickley, Pa. passed away at her home on April 25, 2022. Daughter of the late Samuel and Esther Trudell Stevens. Sister of Stuart Stevens and the late Stephen Paul Stevens. Shirley was a graduate of the first graduating class of Quaker Valley in 1957, and went on to teach there from 1961-2001, when she was awarded The Teacher of Excellence Silver Award. She was a member of St. David's Christian Writers Assn., The Pittsburgh Literary Society and The Squirrel Hill Poetry Group. Friends will be received on Sunday May 8, 2022 in The Richard D. Cole Funeral Home, Inc. 328 Beaver Street Sewickley, Pa. 15143 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Services will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 11 AM in The Presbyterian Church of Sewickley, Grant Street Sewickley.
